Basic Skincare

Since your face is the first thing people see, a nice smooth skin should be a priority! You can start with a simple skincare routine which consists of cleansing and moisturizing*.

Or if you want something more detailed, start with a makeup remover, a cleanser, a toner, serum, moisturizers (one for day with an SPF, and one for night). You can also include scrubs, masks and other products to enhance your skin in addition to your daily routine. These can be done or your own or you can go to a spa and get a facial targeted to your specific skin type. It’s up to you (and your budget!)

I will include as many products and procedures as I can so that you can have the best experience possible taking good card of your skin.

*Always Always Always use sunscreen in your daily routine. It should be able to block all sunrays- UVA and UVB. These are the ones that give your premature wrinkles, sunspots and can cause skin cancer. The SPF (sun protection factor) is important too. They are numbers starting with 15 which gives the lowest amount of protection, to 100+ which is the highest. I recommend at least a 30, but the 15 is good for indoors if sun is shining through.

I really love Dr. Perricone’s products. They have a great line of skincare products to choose from for a thorough skincare routine.
